Bleep Mix 179 comes from the great Roman Flügel. A household name to many, Roman has been active since the early 1990s under a number of aliases (his tracks as Roman IV have been seemingly omnipresent in tastemaker DJ sets for the last decade). This mix is an accurate reflection of Flügel's output - delicately psychedelic, thoughtfully engineered and refreshingly unpredictable. Setting out with some staunch UK techno from Blawan & Ste Roberts, it glides into willowy house, throwback electro and breaks from the likes of Eris Drew & Legowelt, ending with an extended play of the late, great Andrew Weatherall’s Dexys edit.
