There are so many places all over the world pumping out different genres of music and they all have their own piece of flavour attached to them.  I feel it helps people connect with the music if you know where it’s from and offers a new experience during the set“

Cmax Music AKA City Props is a second generation DJ.  His father was among the first djs to start the movement and offer to play records at clubs in the early 70's out in New Brunswick Canada.  Cmax has been an avid music festival attendee here in BC for years now,  having hit his first Shambhala in 2004 and watching Basscoast grow to be one of the most desirable festivals in Canada. The summer of 2021 brought on the opportunity to put a set together for Under the stars festival and it ended up being his first time playing solo live. Tony Metric was born in the city of Mexicali, Baja California. He began his career at 21 years old playing in some local parties and Fashion Shows. He was interested in music since He was only 8 years old.
Now He's a Producer involved to Tech House & Minimal House and his tracks are recognized by their exquisite taste with groove and old school influences.

Ix Free is an independent Mexican house music DJ whose style fuses elements of jackin', funk, chicago and tech. From an early age, she felt a deep passion for house music, which led her to explore its different subgenres and develop a refined ear for mixing. She grew up surrounded by genres such as blues, funk, and disco, which shaped her musical identity.
Her DJ career began in 2021, spinning in bars and parties in Mexicali, Baja California. Over time, she established herself as one of the youngest DJs and the only one of her kind within the local scene. She has performed at various venues and events in the region, as well as in the United States.
With an authentic and groove-filled style, she manages to create a dynamic atmosphere at every performance. Her music and energy ensure that the audience connects with the immersive sounds, selection, and vibe that characterize her work.
