Funkwerkz originates from humble beginnings in the heart of Lancashire, England. The pre-cursor to Funkwerkz all began at the age of 15 when Hard House and Trance and the sounds of Wigan Pier were at its peak, shaping his formative dance music education.
 
By 2012 the passion had developed into a burning desire to learn how to DJ starting off with house parties and local support slots. This then snowballed as he began to build a reputation for his emotively driven funky House style and a unique ability to feed off the crowds energy delivering stand-out sets playing for the biggest dance brands:   BBC Radio 1's Dance Stage at Reading Festival, Gorilla Manchester, Ibiza Rocks, Itaca Ibiza, Pukka Up, Sankeys, The Magic Roundabout and The Zoo Project.
 
After building a stellar reputation as a DJ, he jumped head-first into production launching his exciting funky house project Funkwerkz. His debut release following soon after on TAKE Recordings Summer Sampler, whilst going on to gain notoriety for his anthemic bootlegs:  Herd & Fitz featuring Abigail 'Cant Get Enough and Selace 'So Hooked On Your Lovin'.
 
This has led to Funkwerkz securing a monthly residency with Soul Bowl until the end of 2019 as well as taking on the role as lead curator for this exciting new Northern club brand packed full of his signature funky house fused with soulful disco. One thing is certain things are only going to get funkier!

Referred to by some as one of the most exciting prospect to come out of the rurally beautiful nation of Wales in recent times, Hollie Profit is a blistering ray of sunshine in the DJ universe. 
Inspired by Studio 54’s famous disco ball and the exciting eccentricity of the underground house scene, Hollie has quickly bolstered her career across the world - racking up a profound list of achievements in the process. 

As seen at - Lost Village, Creamfields, Gottwood, Rise Festival, El Dorado, Cafe Mambo, Kaluki, Ministry of Sound, Amsterdam Dance Event.
