Essex born, Ross Mackay moved up to Inverness in 2015 and soon started visiting Aberdeen to indulge in its vibrant party scene. Once he had his share of incredible nights he then started playing with the idea of throwing parties in Inverness.

Fast forward a few years, Ross now co-runs Household, and been a resident from the start he’s now looking to start moving forward with djpam. We're excited to see and hear what's coming up!

This mix is full of breaks, some garage numbers and some wobbly dub. Top notch.

Ahead of a hotly anticipated night in Broadcast later this month, we've got the team from Inverness based Household to put down an hour long mix to give just a taste of what to expect on the night. Breaks, dub, acid squelches and rolling drums run throughout a seamless mix and showcase their completely unique sound by blending variuous genres with ease.

Household have been quietly building a dedicated and hardcore electronic music scene in the Highland city and bringing some huge names along for the ride. The likes of Sam Purcell, Interplanetary Criminal, Luxe and Craigie Knowes are only a few of the superb acts that have visited them "Up North". Despite a small population compared to bigger cities, they've grown a great unit of regularly returning fans who know what's what. They are very much "ones to watch" on the scene and will only continue to grow from strength to strength over the coming months and years.

We're massively hyped to have the troops down for their Glasgow club debut and expect nothing less than mayhem from what we've experienced of their parties up north.
