Phát Prequencies dives into the full spectrum of house and techno, adding a touch of flair with groove and funk.

Phát Trần (born February 18, 1986), raised in Vietnam, is known professionally as Phát Phrequencies—a Vietnamese-American DJ based in New York. A self-taught novice, Phát began his DJ journey in 2024, driven by a deep curiosity and a genuine love for music. DJing has quickly become more than a hobby; it’s a creative outlet and a way for him to share energy and joy with others.

Though he’s new to the scene, Phát is already dreaming bigger—his next goal is to learn how to produce his own music. He hasn’t started producing yet, but the desire to move beyond mixing and into creating original tracks is strong. Inspired by the infectious grooves of funk, he’s excited to eventually develop a sound that blends danceable rhythms with his own personal flair.

For now, Phát is focused on learning, growing, and connecting with the music community as he takes the first steps on this creative journey.
