Tim Cornelissen, known as Oyibo and previously by aliases such as Cygnific and Aerodrome, made a mark in the early 2000s with his releases on labels like Spinnin' Records. His work, supported by renowned DJs like Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten, initially centered on trance music. Over time, his musical direction has evolved towards progressive and deep house.

Recently, Oyibo returned from a two-year sojourn in Nigeria, a country rich with musical heritage from legends like Fela Kuti and the vibrant genre of Afrobeats. Immersed in this environment, he often collaborated with local artists in Lagos' bustling studios, experimenting with various musical styles. These experiences have significantly influenced his music, bringing a fresh, eclectic flair to his sets and tracks.
