Funktrap Records was founded by the producers and DJs Ruben Silva a.k. a. RE5A and Michael Cobaria a.k.a MicFreak. Established officially as a Dallas,TX/Baltimore,DC Label in March of 2015.

Anos de estrada trouxeram uma grande  maturidade profissional para Rafa Marques. Após muitos meses dedicando-se apenas à produção musical  Rafa decidiu retornar com uma nova proposta e já com alguns releases por gravadoras do Brasil,Venezuela,Portugual,Ucrânia e Eslovaquia começam a mostrar a sua própria identidade!!! 

O Beatype já nasce com um vasto conhecimento de pista, acumulado em projetos e experiências anteriores. Apresentando uma nova abordagem sonora, mais intimista e imersiva, Rafa Marques aka Beatype promete levar para as cabines sofisticação suficiente para surpreender os públicos mais exigentes.

Als ein Kind der 90er Jahre kommt Yannick Calmes bereits früh mit elektronischen Klängen in Berührung. 1994 in der Ruhrmetropole Duisburg geboren erhascht er erste Eindrücke allerdings eher durch das elterliche Radioprogramm. 

Mit den Jahren reift Yannicks Musikgeschmack, entwickelt sich stets technoider, driftet ins Housige, bis er schließlich zu dem einzig logischen Entschluss kommt: einfach selbst Musik zu machen.

Inspiriert von Marco Carola kreiert Yannick Calmes einen Sound, dem die Hörer folgen, den sie spüren, Klänge, die nicht immer nur nach vorne gehen, die rundum verzaubern.
Innerhalb von nur knapp zwei Jahren erspielt sich Yannick so eine feste Fanposse. 

Als er schließlich auf seine Mentor Sebastian Phillip trifft, erkennt dieser schnell das Talent des jungen DJs und zeichnet ihn bei RabaukeN Bookings unter Vertrag. Türen öffnen sich.

Neben Gigs bei den Berg & Buschtrommeln spielt der RabaukeN-Sprössling mit Marco Donato vom bekannten DJ-Duo Italoboyz B2B im Royal Bambi, ebenso an der Seite von Lexy, Moritz Ochsenbauer und Frau Schwarzmann. Mittlerweile ist Yannick in Clubs in ganz Deutschland unterwegs und hat sich noch viel vorgenommen. Auch die ersten Anfragen aus dem Ausland trudeln beim RabaukeN-Booking ein...
