Synthetic Dreams 053 - Extended Mix

The journey begins in the shadows with immersive, textured grooves from the likes of GMJ & Matter and Michael A, laying a deep and hypnotic foundation. As the room breathes and settles, subtle melodic elements begin to rise, bringing moments of light and movement without ever peaking too soon.

Through the middle section, I introduce emotionally rich and harmonically warm tracks from artists like Volen Sentir and Amber Long, designed to lift the energy while maintaining that immersive feel. These transitions aren’t about drops – they’re about flow, space, and storytelling.

The final third leans into a more groove-driven and percussive vibe, slowly edging the tempo and energy upwards. By the time you reach the final few tracks – including music from Alex O’Rion and Nicolas Rada – the floor is ready, the atmosphere is primed, and the next DJ can take it wherever the night demands.

This is progressive house as it’s meant to be: deep, emotional, and purposefully paced. Thanks for listening.

Este lunes, PROGRESSIVE en ESPAÑA alza el vuelo hacia Nagoya, Japón, para recibir a un auténtico referente del sonido underground asiático: Dj Ogawa. Con más de 25 años de carrera, Ogawa es mucho más que un dj: es un artesano del groove, un pionero cultural y un arquitecto sonoro que ha sabido fusionar elegancia melódica y técnica de alto nivel.

Desde sus inicios influenciado por el punk y el hip-hop, fue el House de Chicago de los años 80 el que encendió su fuego interior. Desde entonces, ha liderado la escena japonesa, creando en 2001 el evento SMASH en Club Mago, plataforma por la que han pasado nombres como John Digweed, Hernán Cattáneo o Satoshi Tomiie. Como productor, se dio a conocer junto a Unic con el track "Departure", y desde entonces ha firmado himnos como "Explosion", reconocido incluso por Beatport entre los mejores del género.

Ha tocado en clubs míticos como WOMB, AgeHa o Yellow, y ha representado a Japón en festivales como UMF (Ultra Music Festival). Su estilo mezcla bajos envolventes, líneas melódicas cargadas de emoción y una sensibilidad única para narrar historias a través del sonido.

Esta entrega de LEGENDS es una joya nipona que invita a cerrar los ojos, respirar hondo y dejarse guiar por un maestro que entiende la música no como entretenimiento... sino como legado.
