Recognised by all amen heads as queen of the turntables at her home town residency of Unity Edinburgh, she has also held residencies at Jungle Splash London and Better Breakbeat Bureau USA. At the time of recording this mix, Magoo is celebrating her first flight as a producer with her debut release:  Back to 96 on Deep In The Jungle Records. All massive, hold tight!

Welcome to the latest FOCUS submission, This month's spotlight mix is from Gabby Zanot-Beard AKA Gift of the Gab. Gift is no stranger to Drum and Bass her passion and love for it have seen her recently start up PhasednbRecords which is a platform offering opportunities for upcoming DJ's, producers and Artists. 

Gift has dropped a fair few mix's this past year on her Soundcloud, promo's for Phasednbrecords, Scorpio Sessions and recently a Jungle/rollers mix that was noticed and played by Skibadee on his recent Sunday sessions. Phase Records has Teamed up with Limitless DNB to launch a new joint venture Project Matriarchy, which is an all female stream and event project aimed at promoting Female DNB selecta talent!

Gift draws from the whole spectrum of Drum and Bass but her favourite to mix is Minimal, Jungle and rollers some of her influences are Enei, T>I, Bladerunner and Aphrodite. As well as this FOCUS mix dropping this weekend, Gift has another Drum and Bass mix dropping with the House of Hi Fi tomorrow so be on the look out for that.

With no signs of slowing down you can guarantee to see Gabby at the raves when they start back up again, she keeps herself busy by working on her craft, networking and connecting with people online through new groups and live streams she wants to push her label further this year and even start production.
