Music producer, writer and DJ Johan S started out in the late 1990´s with the legendary StoneBridge and SweMix working with numerous house classics from Robin S and Todd Terry to name a few. Johan was also a part of the successful production team behind the multi-platinum selling acts Alcazar and BWO.
With over 30 years in the industry, he’s achieved multiple gold and platinum records awards, with a repertoire filled not only with original tracks but also stellar remixes.

Johan's releases have come on a wealth of the industries most recognised imprints, including Toolroom, Defected, Perfect Havoc, Wh0 Plays, Simma Black, Adesso, Glasgow Underground, Roger Sanchez's Undr The Radr and Demuir's Purveyor Underground.
The industry heavyweights such as Jamie Jones, Danny Howard, Meduza, Nic Fanciulli, Roger Sanchez, Low Steppa, Claptone, and Ferreck Dawn have been showing live and on-air support for his tracks. Johan has also received tremendous radio support from Kiss FM, Kiss Dance, BBC R1 and many more.

SAMO started spinning records back in the mid-nineties in the infamous Rotterdam techno scene. After a long musical journey exploring different styles of house and techno he now landed back on his roots in disco & housemusic.

Over the last few years his music and remixes has been released on labels like Big Love Records, Armada Music, Cruise Music, Good For You Records, Let There Be House Records, Spacedisco Records, InStereo Recordings, Juiced Music and many more..

As a DJ he has played from Amsterdam to London to Ibiza and keeps on rocking dancefloors worldwide!

You might know him best for the 2017 huge discohouse hit Straight On (Cruise Music) which was the #1 Jackin House Track on the year on Traxsource or his 2022 banger STRANGERS which also topped the charts for months.
Also SAMO has been voted in the top 20 Jackin House artists of the world 3 years in a row.
