Kicking things off we have Cookie Tee, a Drum & Bass DJ hailing from Hull, UK. 

As a lifelong fan of Drum & Bass, Cookie decided to channel this passion and began learning to DJ just under 2 years ago and nothing is stopping her!! 

Cookie has gone from strength to strength, refining her style and becoming known for delivering exciting, high-energy sets, that span the spectrum of Drum & Bass with a particular penchant for Jump Up & Jungle 🔥

Having built up a small army of loyal followers through her weekly live streams on TikTok, 2023 has seen Cookie play at events across the UK, receiving recognition from some of the biggest acts in the scene along the way. 

Cookie is the founder of the “DJ’s Supporting DJ’s” brand, providing a platform to help and support new and up and coming DJ’s with all aspects of DJ’ing.

We started this series of shows in 2011, it’s been on at least 3 radio stations, a podcast on its own and a massive amount of fun -  but it’s time for a change up!

Our new show The40 will be starting in the New Year - It’ll be much the same as Back to the Future, loads of new music mixed, but just the chance to play some new jingles (when i’ve made them…), we’ll have a couple of new features and a bit of a monthly chart for my favourite of the 40 tracks.

Track started in my 'liquid era', circa April 2023. Back when I had the courage to write for the Piano.
Somewhat a followup to City Streets - this was made in the same era.

➔ About the Album
Collection of Liquid Drum & Bass works from 2021~2024.
This album is a testament to almost 4 years of producing, while still not finding what I truly enjoy making. Perhaps, one could say I'm lost. But at the same time, I've been lost forever yet I've never felt like it was truly a problem. So Let's hope the next few years are equally filled with both ups and downs - I think this is what makes my life so interesting.
Liquid DnB has been a great genre to produce over the years, with inspiration by Makoto, LSB, Harry Shotta, and many more. While being a genre I sometimes consider as 'lazy' or 'uninspired', I still think it's one of the widest subgenres of drum & bass, considering the range of instruments---both synthetic and acoustic---which can be used.

The cover artwork and video visuals are a love letter to my magnificent country and region - the French Alps, and showcase something I really enjoy: taking deep breaths outside through driving, hiking or cycling. The photo was taken in 2023 during a bivouac and is the westside of Taillefer from the Plateau des Lacs, and various videos were taken from 2021 to today on various trips and hikes, by car, foot or bicycle.
