Cwm Dancing! Episode 7 (June 2023)

Soul Deep Digital and Zoner are proud to announce the release of the “Last Regret EP," which is now available in all major digital stores and streaming sites.  Zoner, who hails from Cambridge, is back for his sophomore release on the Soul Deep imprint.  The progress in his production journey is evident upon first listening to his new compositions.  With releases on Natty Dub, GZ audio, and Headsbass, Zoner is building a solid back catalog of quality music.  

The “Last Regret EP” features 6 cuts that are full of rolling drum arrangements, bouncy basslines, perfectly pitched down vocals, and lush chord stabs that glue the elements together.  From the techy chords of “Last Regret” to the smooth liquid vibes of “Singularity” to the vocal-driven tune, “Reverance,” Zoner serves up the fresh flavors in a way that only he can.  AudioSketch takes on the co-producer duties for the song, “Lost In Translation.”  The duo combines to create a stripped-back jam that is highlighted by a gritty mid-baseline, rumbling subs, and snappy drums.  If you’re looking for a new artist to follow, look no further than Zoner!  His music is created in a fashion that suits the dancefloor perfectly, so don’t sleep on this producer!

For the end of the year we have something special with a debut ep from new artist LVR.
LVR (Liam van Rijn) has been producing electronic music for over ten years and now his focus is on drum and bass which is firmly rooted in the melodic side and the crossroads between cinematic and electronic.

Title track Skin opens the ep with sweet melodies, a deep bass and modulated mids with a catchy vocal.
No One keeps up the uplifting momentum with warm deep bass, driving drums and bass peppered with vocal stabs and enveloping gated pads and riffs.
All I Need closes out the ep and is a warm stepper with touches of piano and vocal,solid drums and memorable melodies.
