Adriana Sparkuhl, founder of San Francisco’s iconic Soundpieces crew, is a mixed queer Chilean-American who was raised devout Greek Orthodox on her father's Palestinian side. A lifelong master painter who thrives in underground culture, ravey bass music, and ethnic sound seduction, she performs under the alias NUNYA—a name derived from “nunya business,” symbolizing her belief that the music and art take center stage, while she remains simply the vessel.

Sparkuhl (her real surname) learned to DJ on vinyl during her adolescent rave days in Las Vegas. After 15 years of building Soundpieces—a party crew renowned for debuting dubstep legends since 2006—she returned to the decks, bringing her raw, genre-blurring style to the spotlight.

NUNYA’s sonic roots trace back to the early 2000s, when she immersed herself in the thriving drum & bass and speed garage scenes at Vegas’ notorious AWOL racetrack raves . Her sound today reflects that versatility: from funky, dirty house and UKG to basshouse, heavy DnB, dark dubstep, explicit rap, and sensual, immersive soundscapes.

Raised around music from a young age—piano, vocals, and a near-overload of dance—NUNYA’s journey to the stage began before she can even remember. Though she spent years behind the scenes and behind a mask, she’s now fully in the light, and it’s clear there’s still much more to come.

Gustavo Gazonato was born in Laranjal Paulista, in the countryside of São Paulo, and began his musical journey at the age of 12. With natural talent and relentless dedication, by 14 he had already joined the prestigious Conservatório de Tatuí “Dr. Carlos de Campos,” where he specialized in classical percussion. 

In 2022, Gustavo dove headfirst into the world of electronic music, carrying with him a deep rhythmic foundation to craft sets and productions that explore texture, groove, and movement. His sonic language flirts with house, techno, and breakbeat — always marked by strong personality and intent.

With a journey that bridges classical training, experimental artistry, and club culture, Gustavo Gazonato holds a singular place in the contemporary scene — crossing musical worlds with elegance and boldness. His art is pulse, transgression, and presence.
