JO MEDINA WAS BORN IN NAPLES IN 1988, FROM THE BEGINNING HAS A PASSION FOR DANCE MUSIC OF THE EARLY 90s, TO THEN BE INFLUENCED BY THE HOUSE MUSIC OF NEW YORK AND CHICAGO WHICH WERE VERY POPULAR IN THE NEAPOLITAN NIGHTLIFE IN THOSE YEARS.ARTISTS LIKE LOUIE VEGA, TODD TERRY, DAVE MORALES, FRANKIE THE GOD FATHER KNUCKLES, HAVE BORN IN HIM A GREAT LOVE FOR THIS KIND, SO, WITH THE FIRST SAVINGS, THE FAMOUS TECHNICS 1200 WITH WHICH BEGINS TO START MIXING IMMEDIATELY. THE FIRST GIGS ARE NOT LONG IN ARRIVING SO THE BOY STARTS TO GO TO THE VARIOUS SMALL CLUBS IN THE CITY.IN THE EARLY YEARS 00 DUE TO THE LACK OF WORK, HIS FAMILY IS FORCED TO ABANDON THE CITY TO MOVE TO THE MOST PROSPEROUS MILAN, BUT FOR THE STILL YOUNG BOY IT WAS A HARD STROKE. EVERYTHING TO REDO, SO, TAKEN FROM DEFEAT, HE STARTS TO WORK IN THE FACTORY, BUT THE PASSION NEVER ABANDON HIM, AFTER A LITTLE TIME HAPPENED TO DEDICATE TO THE FAMILY, TAKES BACK HIS PASSION IN HIS HAND AND STARTS TO TURN SOME CLUBS AROUND MILAN LIKE AMNESIA,TSUNAMI CLUB, SHAMBALA, BUT IT IS NOT ENOUGH, HE WANTS MORE, SO HE STARTS TO STUDY HARD TO BECOME A PRODUCER AND AFTER A LITTLE TIME IT STARTS TO RELEASE TECH / DEEP / MINIMAL TRACKS ON LABELS LIKE LIGHTMUSIC, HUMATRON, KLUBASIC. THE REST IS EVERYTHING TO WRITE, BUT THE ROAD IS WELL DEFINED, MAKE PEOPLE DANCE TO THE SOUND OF JO.
