“Compilation albums have a special place in my heart and to mark our birthday year I really wanted to release a project that was distinctive and exciting. An album that showcases the diversity of the label, the talents of the many artists we work with and ties together the threads and themes the producers explore.

The 22 exclusive tracks here are a perfect snapshot of the sound that Critical is wanting to be at the forefront of : Underground drum and bass in many different forms but always with that cutting edge.

The physical album is a strictly limited edition 6 piece vinyl box set with artwork designed by Steiner Grafik. The box itself is beautiful with silver ink printed on both the inside and outer shell, the records are pressed on 120gsm virgin vinyl and the 6th plate has a special etching to commemorate the birthday.

We have a deluxe version too which is limited to 100 copies. This includes the album box , a special aluminium print of the artwork, a signed poster, a multi page fanzine designed by Studio Yasseen Faik, stickers and a slipmat. (update: Deluxe box sets have now sold out)

Immerse yourself in the impelling world of Ferice with his latest release, "Knowing You EP". Each track tells its own story, taking listeners on an emotional journey through the highs and lows of life and love.

- Knowing You

The title track "Knowing You" is a tribute to the cherished souls who have traversed alongside, even those who have departed. Like distant stars casting their radiant glow upon the night sky, their ever-watchful presence guides Ferice's journey, infusing it with the warmth of their eternal love and unwavering support. The strong melodic synth and tight drums draw you in immediately, setting the tone for the journey of uncovering hidden aspects of our identities through close connections.

- On My Mind feat. Lauren Walton

"On My Mind" brings a reflective track that explores the thoughts and feelings that accompany us throughout the day. A perfect blend of catchy melodies and profound lyrics makes this song an essential part of the EP, highlighting how proximity to our inner thoughts can reveal parts of ourselves we didn't know existed. This track is a collaboration with Lauren Walton, a singer and songwriter based in Leeds.

"Searching" delves into the relentless quest for meaning and fulfillment in life. The musical composition mirrors the inner restlessness and desire for more, while the lyrics invite listeners to question their own paths and goals. It's a collaboration with Ruby Letitia, a singer-songwriter from the UK.

- Can't Go (No Can Do)
