Perky Recordings is buzzing to drop the debut EP from AUDIO iLLS. You might know them as E.M.Z—the runner-up in Hospital Records’ 23x23 remix challenge for their take on Lally x Lens' 'Love The Way'. With tunes already out on 1 More Thing and The Hornets Nest Records' 90-second compilation, they’re now stepping up as the Audio Illustrator, creating music inspired by life’s ups and downs.

The 'TSH' EP will roll out over four months, taking on the theme of Graves’ disease. In a nutshell, it’s when the thyroid—basically your body’s central heating—goes into overdrive, which can seriously mess with your day-to-day and needs proper treatment. Each track is named after a blood test connected to the condition, creating a soundscape that mirrors its challenges.

Wyrd (Previously Wavy Gravy) is the DJ/Production alias of Matt Oppermann from Stellenbosch, South Africa, After spending a decade immersing himself in the local electronic music scene, traversing multiple genres and subgenres and developing a listeners ear for the music, he found the genre's that called to him most in IDM, Glitch Hop, Drum n Bass and Psytrance.

Matt likes understated, nuanced elements in his music selections, blurring genre boundaries and finding niche tracks that incorporate unusual elements and sound design that would not be commonplace within the genre.

I am a multi genre DJ with a focus on drum and bass. I prefer heavy jump up, neuro, jungle, speed bass and  rollers. I will choose female lyrics nine times out of ten.  I hate bios. I never record a mix twice. So imperfections are part of who I am. Beautifully flawed. Let me take you through a mixes that tell you my story through passion and emotion. 😘
