As we finish off an incredible year for Addictive Behaviour our last release of 2018 salutes 5 years since the label’s formation. Celebrating this proud milestone, we have curated a various artists LP featuring a host of our favourite producers from past and present.

To mark this occasion twenty-three fresh cuts have been laid down from a select roster of talented artists, some of which have played a pivotal role in sculpting the label’s foundations and some which will be play a huge part in the evolution of Addictive’s future soundscape.

You’ll find fresh remixes and VIP’s from the likes of Scar, Fre4knc & Kyrist. There’s debut appearances from Wreckless, Narrate & Sam Harris, Objectiv and D’TCH. And of course there are a number of tracks from regulars of the Addictive camp including Data 3, Invadhertz, Philth, Handra and many more. You’ll also find fourteen choice tracks selected from Addictive’s back catalogue, which showcase the label’s output over the past 5 years from producers that were a crucial part in the label’s development.

We’d like to thank all of you that have helped support our growing label in our first few years of inception. To acknowledge this achievement this momentous album will also be supported with an extra special event. Next up on the Addictive Behaviour imprint is a continuation EP, celebrating the diverse production prowess of Wreckless & friends once again, this time enlisting support from Necrobia & Conscience. Following on from his Simulacra release last year with Necrobia & Sweetpea, Simulacra & Simulation is a concept based around altered perceptions, alternative realities and being removed from the world as we know it by technology. 

This follow up EP consists of four deadly cuts each purveying their own mystifyingly dark undercurrents and each production nodding back to nostalgic inspirations whilst still remaining future fresh. ‘Alienware’ opens up with a damaging assault of contorted snarls and cutting drums. ‘Don’t Care’ switches it up, raining down a mood evoking bass fuelled roller. Following this is the steppy inertia and intricate breaks of ‘Blank’. And rounding it all off is the timeless and unrelenting gritty sounds of ‘Cleanse’.

This 2nd part to the series is an onslaught of tense, captivating and stand-out tracks which you can really take your pick of. A solid collection and addition to anyone’s playlist that continues to deliver the message, urging you to take off the filter, put down the phone and just listen to the raw original music.

Black Barrel - Dark Blocks [Premiere]

A-Negative is bringing a track called 'Lurker' in which we can remember nicely the good old 6-minute neuro where the deep bass overflows with warm pads.It is constantly evolving somewhere until a drop comes in which it takes us into a nice atmosphere. When creating track 'Prophet', Dephzac was thinking about the tough and renewable future after all that we are currently facing, so the whole track is more vigorous and with overlapping dark pads.
