Completing his epic trilogy of full-length albums, NC-17’s 'Most Violent Year Album Part 3' represents some of this talented producer’s best work to date. Written during the most intense part of the global pandemic, when distrust and paranoia ran rife, society as a whole began to rebel against restrictive measures.

The final act in the series is like the business end of a Louisville Slugger. An album jabbing with heavy tracks and wide soundscapes. Most Violent Year 3 is not just a concept album, but a strong representation of the time in which it was made. A true product of its time.

NC-17 channelled this amplified frustration into his studio practice, the mood producing some of the most intense and dark music from the album series. Heavily influenced by exploitation cinema & late 90s Drum and Bass. NC-17 fuses both elements delivering a unique & high-octane ride to end the series.

Alongside his stunning solo productions, Part 3 includes outstanding collaborations with Exile, John Rolodex, Logam, Philth and Kumarachi. Dispatch is proud to present this incredible culmination of a remarkable body of work.

Celebrating their first EP release for Dispatch, Mosaic present the 'Landmark EP' as a follow up to 2019's two-track Dispatch Limited Release - 'Misty/Something Different. 

Mosaic is a dnb collective made up of Ben Soundscape, Lawrence Dodge and Rich Kingsmill. Written over the course of a year, with frequent long-distance trips between Bristol and Yeovil, this EP marks a landmark progression in this exciting trio's output. 

'Darklight', featuring the exceptional vocal talents of Collette Warren, is an ode to the oldskool late 90s Bristol sound. Oldskool rare groove samples and funk breaks meet warbling subs for that authentic flavour. 

'He Said', originally built from an 8 bar loop, halved and edited to create its rolling funk, is packed with angular bass and crisp percussion. 

'Sky Come Crashing' takes its title from the vocal sample, matched with precision drum cuts and bags of energy. 

'Jigsaw' completes the EP with its saw wave LFO answer basses, driving this punchy roller through fast paced drum work.

Dispatch Recordings welcome Judda to the label for his first solo drum and bass release for over 10 years. Having spent several years writing and releasing a whole range of different tempos and genres, and appearing on a number of dnb collabs, for this two-track release Judda returns to his dnb roots proper.

The opening atmospherics of  “Dark Sky” set the tone before it slowly builds into a rugged, two-step roller. The contrast of bright synths and tough beats drives the track through ever-developing progression, this one rolls out perfectly. 

For “Endor” Judda takes a slightly darker tone, with heavy metallic snares punctuating a rolling vocal sample that twists and develops as the tune progresses. Heavyweight soul that hits just right.
