This is amazing! <3 Rest in peace, Marcus. Happy to see @lynxdnb putting this out with a little story behind it as well. Years ago when "Vault 1" was coming out I did an interview with Lynx for Stash! Magazine, which sadly no longer exists and I can't find it anywhere. :( I also did an interview with Marcus in 2015 before his visit to Bulgaria, when I had the chance to meet him. The memories... :)) The music lives on.

Lynx drops ‘Vault 4’, a milestone release marking fifteen years of Detail Recordings, and tucked inside is something truly special. ‘PTO’, his collaboration with the late Marcus Intalex, finally sees the light after being written back in 2009 during a Manchester studio link up while Lynx was planning his Soul:R album launch.

The pair joked at the time that the tune felt a bit plain, which inspired the title, but hearing it now, it feels beautifully aged and full of character. With the blessing of Marcus’s mum, Pat, ‘PTO’ lands as one of the most meaningful moments on the entire project.

‘Vault 4’ gathers unreleased work from across two decades, rebuilt and remastered for today’s Drum & Bass heads, with extra appearances from Bagshot, Radzta and CutKeyLow.
