TR Tactics, the producer and DJ duo from Austria, have been storming up a lot of people’s lists of artists to watch in 2014. After releases on Citrus, Disturbed and Dissected Culture, they drop ABREC07 on Addictive Behaviour, their latest and greatest work to date.

Addictive are one of the most forward thinking labels out there, always allowing the talent and dedication of their artists to shine through, and Time Slice/Cone is no exception. After their success in the D&B Arena remix competition, and a series of amazing releases, the duo are definitely on the rise.

Time Slice starts off as a dark, ominous roller, full of atmosphere and deep level vibes. The beats drop in when you least expect them, charging head long into some very dangerous territory. Switching electronics accompany the drop, where forceful bass comes right at you, shaking the ground with its intensity. A real builder, the amazing lengths the producers have gone to are realised in full when you give this one your full attention. Feel the power of Time Slice as it unfolds around you, reminding you how all of the buzz about TR Tactics is perfectly justified. A seriously essential piece of music.

Luka Rakovic, better known as Dub Raid, is a music producer and DJ hailing from Novi Sad, Serbia. His journey in music began as one half of the Drum & Bass duo Netics, alongside Aleksandar (Miles High). Since stepping onto the scene in 2012, the pair released several tracks and earned spots at celebrated events like Goodfellas and Barely Legal, performing alongside notable names such as Codex, Senzzor, Billain, and Baseline Crew. They also made their mark on the festival circuit, appearing at major bass music events like Outlook Festival.

Now pursuing his solo project as Dub Raid, Luka focuses on developing a distinctive sound that defines his musical identity. Beyond his work as a producer, Luka is a skilled concept artist and graphic designer. He has contributed his creative talents to Codex’s Metnem Records, crafting striking cover artworks that complement the label’s cutting-edge releases.

After the success of their 'Something Strange' single earlier this year and their powerful contribution to the 'New Age Myths EP', Addictive Behaviour are proud to present another inspiring release from the technically gifted production trio known as Data 3.  

The opening track 'Fossil' unearths a meticulously engineered rhythm as Data 3 deliver another dose of their defining sound. Creeping in with a dusting of percussion and a pressure building kick-drum before rolling out a thick modulated bassline and aggressive growls, transporting you to another world.  This track is full of character, constantly switching and fascinating till the end. 

Canyon Dreams is next and cuts in fiercely with a solid metallic jungle beat to open up. Sinister tones build to a sharp drop characterized by an unsettling crackling synth that buzzes along like a swarm of killer bees. Interspersed with sticky drum breaks and tinged with eerie pad work, this is another beautifully crafted piece of work from a solid production outfit that are relentless in their output. 

Returning to the fold with two of their finest cuts of music, this production trio is solid and continue to define their imprint on the drum & bass scene.
