The Tape Pack Project all started with a casual conversation between Dirtbox Recordings boss Lee UHF and producer Shayper back in December 2023. What began as a simple idea soon snowballed into a full-blown mission, launching on 1 January 2024 with military precision.

Shayper was fully on board from day one, and it wasn’t long before The Fi5th joined the ride too. The concept was simple but bold: one track from each artist every month, for 12 months straight. No filler, just focused creativity. That relentless energy eventually led to two full-length albums built piece by piece: ‘Iteration’ from Shayper and ‘Procedure’ from The Fi5th.

Dirtbox Recordings passed the torch to Argentinian producer Noise Souls for 2025 as the Tape Pack Project rolls through its second year. His contribution? The ‘Sequence’ series. A twelve-month journey featuring a single track being released on the first of every month until December. Expect razor-sharp production, deep atmospheres, and a blend of raw grit and refined groove.
