Purplemonk (@theodoros-efstathiou-37) joins Dream Schemes for our 14th release, delivering 2 vibey jungle tracks to get the dancefloor moving.

A side - Missing U - is a groovy number, starting off on a chilled melodic note with catchy arps before descending into beefy reese and amen madness.

B side - Feel It - starts off a bit more reserved, building up nice break work and melodics before firing out into pure breaks and bass. As the track moves on it goes full circle to bring back the chilled vibes.

Since inception in 2010, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, a few years in to the game, Skankandbass decides to take on the role of a record label to put together a series of free download singles which aims to further help spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

With support coming from S.P.Y, Noisia, SpectraSoul and many more, Lavance returns to Skankandbass and continues to showcase different tastes of drum and bass, from dark to liquid rollers. Lavance is without a doubt a new producer to keep your eyes and ears on in 2017. Joining Lavance on SNB020 is Sam Ord aka Skarpa, haling from a small town in Wales. 

Skarpa first entered the drum and bass scene with recent support from the likes of Noisia, Amoss and Fre4knc. His aim is to create a dark and strong vibe to underground minimal drum and bass with unique experimental sounds and progression, taking inspiration from artists such as Mefjus, 16bit and Aphex Twin its no surprise to expect weird, deep vibes from this upcoming producer.
