With roots in Southern California's underground rave scene and a decade-long imprint on Dublin’s most iconic drum & bass nights, MC Kenna is a drum and bass MC known for his introspective flow, deep social commentary, and versatile styles that range across different sub genres and styles of drum and bass.
As a resident MC for some of Dublin City’s biggest DnB nights from 2010 to 2020, he became a well known figure in the Irish DNB scene—holding down the mic for dnb crews and record labels like SCM, Boey Audio, Renegade Noize and many others. If you were going to dnb shows between 2010 and 2020, you likely saw Kenna performing with headlining artists such as Black Sun Empire, Grooverider, Teddy Killaz & many others.
His track record includes powerful features on Dispatch Recordings (notably Premonition with Solace & Jabaru), Neuroheadz (DNB award for best label), Deph Records, and more. A trusted voice on stage and studio alike, Kenna’s worked with artists like Ripple, Transforma, Frannabik, and Jabaru (RIP), Dephzac, earning respect for his ability to elevate gritty rollers, melodic soundscapes, and aggressive heavy neuro bangers.
Now based on the south coast of Spain. MC Kenna continues to evolve—bridging continents and cultures through the universal language of bass music and conscious lyricism.
