The beginning of 2015 sees Czech producer Qo deliver his debut solo EP for Eatbrain. Over the last few years, he's become one of the strongest voices in hard drum & bass, owing to his expert skills in the studio - where he's carved out a distinct, aggressive brand of neurofunk - as well as the DJ booth. After absolutely smashing his debut Eatbrain track earlier this year ('Killcode') it seemed only fitting that he deliver several more.

Concept One steps up for his debut release on Momentive Recordings.

The Austrian Drum & Bass DJ and producer is known for his razor-sharp sound design and trademark dark, driving energy. His journey into the genre began back in 2015 at his first rave; an experience that lit the spark and set him on course for a life dedicated to Drum & Bass. By 2018, he was behind the decks and deep in production mode, steadily carving out his sound.

As a resident at SWITCH! and co-founder of PitchblackDNB, Concept One has become a familiar face in the scene, delivering high-voltage sets that connect with crowds on a visceral level.

With releases on respected imprints such as Fokuz Recordings, Serial Killaz, and Incurzion Audio, his work has caught the attention of listeners and DJs alike. Having torn up stages across Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany, Concept One continues to evolve his craft, blending precision production with a raw, underground spirit that perfectly sets the tone for Momentive’s first chapter.

The first release drops two heavyweights straight out the gate. Gydra fires off a ferocious take on 'Punks', merging neuro precision with jump-up energy. Then Neonlight step in to rework 'Parkour' with soaring melody, slick groove, and that unmistakable German flair.

A powerful start to a project that honours one of Drum & Bass’s most fearless producers. Receptor might be stepping away, but his sound will echo for years to come.
