Kai Hillmann Reimagines Mika Olson’s “Tomorrow” with a Deep, Organic Twist.

Déepalma closes out the year with a spellbinding new chapter for one of its most cherished catalogue gems. German producer Kai Hillmann steps up to rework Mika Olson’s 2023 hit “Tomorrow”—a track that has already surpassed 1 million Spotify streams—ushering it into sultry, organic-house territory while preserving the emotive core that made the original resonate worldwide.

Where Mika’s original leaned into a straighter, classic deep-house pulse, Hillmann’s remix drapes the track in earthy percussion, warm analogue chords, and a dreamy synth arpeggio that feels tailor-made for golden-hour dancefloors. It’s a gentle shift, but a transformative one—expanding the track’s horizon into more meditative, rhythm-driven spaces without losing its melodic DNA.

The release follows a banner season for Mika Olson, who just unveiled “Déepalma Spotlight: Mika Olson” on 28 November—a 13-track retrospective tracing his evolution from early deep grooves to modern, refined production craft. With millions of streams behind him—and a legacy shaped by classics like “What I Need” and “Tomorrow”—Mika continues to be a cornerstone of the Déepalma sound.

For Hillmann, the remix marks another confident stride in his creative resurgence. Known for his lush, melodic grooves and hypnotic energy, the German producer has long been a fixture from Berlin’s Sisyphos and Kater Blau to global festival circuits. Following his recent Déepalma releases “Alone” and “Long Way”, Hillmann’s remix of “Tomorrow” showcases an artist fully back in his flow—elegant, expressive, and unmistakably him.

The result is a perfect synergy: two distinct voices in modern deep house converging on one timeless melody, reborn for a new moment.

From time to time Fortunea Records gives us the chance to highlight and welcome new faces. And this one is Petals In Sound!

Louise Baldwin is a UK-based producer and DJ. After over a decade of living, working and partying in South East London, she relocated to Crosby in Liverpool. Following a number of years experimenting with music production, she finally found her groove during the 2020 Covid lockdown. In October 2020, she released under her moniker the well-received debut EP 'Palace’ on Boyanza Records, gaining support from the likes of NTS Radio and the Sloth Boogie Radio Show. Many releases on labels such as Closer To Truth, Dirt Crew and Inhale Exhale followed.

Louise playfully attacks the fabric of deep house, pushing and pulling the genre into modern territory with clever and precise production techniques. And now she will release her first vinyl record on the Austrian imprint. The ‚Days‘ EP includes 4 original tracks and a remix by the Vienna-based dj and producer Dzc.. Hypnotic rhythms and well crafted deepness defines this record.

Petals In Sound’s ‚Days’ EP will come out on december 19th. All tracks have been mastered by Patrick Pulsinger. The vinyl is limited to 200 copies and there will be no repress!

Closing out 2025, Four Corners welcomes long-time collaborator Kinsella with her debut solo release, the ‘Full Circle' EP.

Based in Hastings, UK, Kinsella is a singer-songwriter whose creative relationship with label boss Melinki spans over 15 years. While both have followed their own paths, Kinsella across R&B, soul and hip-hop, and Melinki within Drum & Bass and Four Corners Music, this release brings those journeys back together.

The EP draws in the wider Four Corners family, with Kinsella’s vocals and songwriting leading collaborations with Pyxis, Euqsarosa and bd:j. Remixes from Myth, Sklart Mafia, Monument Banks and Melinki add further depth across the Drum & Bass spectrum.

Emotive and versatile, ‘Full Circle’ is a concise celebration of connection and creative evolution.

will:r is still a fresh name within the Drum & Bass scene, but his direction is already taking shape. Following a collaborative EP with HYMIX on Fokuz Recordings last year, the Manchester-based producer now delivers his debut solo project with 'Arrive' EP.

Although positioned as a solo release, the EP leans on strong collaboration. Two tracks feature rapper E33I, whose raw, grounded delivery sits naturally against will:r’s hazy melodies and rolling grooves, creating a sound that feels both cohesive and forward-thinking.

Closing the project is 'DoUMind', a track that hints at another side of will:r’s artistry and rounds off the EP with a subtle sense of surprise. Overall, 'Arrive' EP serves as a confident introduction and a clear statement of intent from an emerging artist worth watching.
