Welcome to Impromptu Beats #5 -  it's prog house, I like prog house, and so should you because reasons, good ones. Anyways this track gets a few notes to go along with it. 

- Impromptu Beats sets are sets that we unplanned, using music I mostly haven't heard before for more than a few seconds. I create a set on the fly and it ends up what it is. Why? Because it's fun...

- I realized mid-mix of 1974 and Rave All Night that I was doing my friend @mimick-625652103's transition from his Chase the Night #31 set, which I have been listening to a lot. Impromptu Beats #5 - Progressive House - Oct 6, 2025

New England-based DJ spinning various forms of house, trance, drum & bass, metal, and electronica.

Born in Kyiv and based in Toronto, Sashy is a DJ and music producer whose lifelong passion for sound and creativity has guided her across continents and genres. A classically trained pianist and songwriter, she even rapped as a teenager in an all-female band before moving to the United States for university and eventually settling in Canada.

Since relocating to Toronto in 2007, Sashy has immersed herself in the city’s vibrant electronic music scene. Music has remained her anchor through every chapter - from cross-continent moves to motherhood. During the isolation of her maternity leave in the pandemic, she rediscovered her creative spark and pursued her dream of becoming a DJ.

Her sound - blending Afro House, Progressive House, Melodic & Organic House - has earned international recognition, with her mixes featured on global stations such as Ibiza Stardust, Mix365, and Remix Radiofy.

In 2024, she expanded into production, with her debut Progressive House EPs reaching the Beatport Top 10. With more releases planned for 2025 and beyond, her journey as a producer continues to rise.

Beyond the decks, Sashy is a corporate event planner bridging business and music through her Flow State of Mind series - curating electronic sets that inspire creativity and focus. She’s also the co-founder of Club Sirenis, a Toronto-based community celebrating local women DJs and producers, where every artist is a headliner.
