“Determination” by Petrichor Ocean is a dark, emotive journey through future garage that pulses with quiet strength. The track builds tension with a deep, evolving bass presence, layered under shimmering textures and moody pads that suggest both struggle and resolve. Sparse yet deliberate percussion lets space breathe, allowing each sound—every echo, every ambient swell—to land with purpose. This is music for when you’re confronting the edges of your own drive; it’s atmospheric and introspective, yet charged with an undercurrent of forward momentum.

Determination

This is my first published song. A malfunction between the mixing console and my effects unit created the main sound, which I edited and used to create a melody. The title reflects how quickly and how much was happening at the time I produced it, so that it almost feels like flying through space and time.
