Dauw—pronounced ‘Dao’—is the condensation of soul into sound. Like morning dew catching the first light of day, his music arrives steadily, yet speaks of deep undercurrents. Steeped in deep, worldly rhythms, the journey has always been one of essence over hype. Feeling over form.

His sets have pulsed through clubs, festivals, deserts, jungles, lakesides and intimate private events. But as the seasons turned, so did the call. What once moved crowds toward sunrise began pulling him inward—toward stillness, presence and ceremony. 

And so, Dao emerged. A name echoing eastern wisdom tradition—the path, the flow, the harmony beyond effort. With it he crafts ecstatic dance experiences where music becomes medicine and movement the release. These are rituals in spaces held with care, soul and deep intention. 

Drawing on one and a two decades of DJ alchemy, his sound blends grounded basslines with soaring emotional arcs, curated entirely anew for each gathering. Music for the body, the breath and the unseen.

This isn’t an act. It's a remembrance.

Arrivé à la musique par le Hard-Rock, le Disco, le Funk et les rythmes Caraïbes, il se passionne pour la Deep House, Progressive House et Trance, genres dans lesquels il s’est spécialisé depuis que sa fille lui a fait découvrir en 2004 « Need to feel loved » de Reflekt and the Delline Bass.
C’est en suivant des DJ tels que Gareth Emery, Above & Beyond, Hernan Cattaneo, Jaytech, Eli & Fur ou des labels comme Anjunadeep que lui est venue l’envie de devenir DJ à son tour, au travers d’une véritable mue, pour faire connaitre cette musique porteuse de joie et d’émotions.

ABOUT KRYSALID
Although his first contacts with music came with Hard-Rock, Disco, Funk and Caribbean rhythms, Krysalid is a House Music DJ.
In 2004, his daughter introduced him to « Need to feel loved » (Reflekt Feat. Delline Bass). This is where he got hooked on Deep & Progressive House as well as Trance Music; genres that he has specialized in ever since.
Influenced by DJs such as Gareth Emery, Above & Beyond, Hernan Cattaneo, Jaytech, Eli & Fur and labels along the line of Anjunadeep, he started Djing to join the mouvement in promoting the music and sharing the joy & emotions it conveys.
