The fourth edition of SHDW’s flagship ‘Federation Of Rytm’ VA series has been carefully curated by the DJ/ producer and head honcho over more than a year, with close attention to detail given to sequencing. It is a balance of label regulars and debutants that represents the past, present, and future, both sonically and through the generational diversity of the artists involved. There are plenty of surprises along the way while always remaining true to the Mutual Rytm ethos and reflecting the journey of the night from start to finish, whether that's in intimate, sweaty clubs or on big festival stages.

"I’ve lived with most of these tracks for over a year, testing them on the dancefloor and fine-tuning the selection. Across 30 tracks in the digital collection and 24 on four sides of wax, the release explores the full breadth of the Mutual Rytm sound. Driving grooves and relentless percussion set the pace, gradually unfolding into hypnotic and atmospheric passages that invite deeper immersion. Pulsating low-end power alternates with eerie minimalism, while bursts of futuristic energy and cavernous kick drums keep the tension high. Elsewhere, dub textures and moments of introspection provide balance, creating a narrative arc that moves fluidly between intensity and release, atmosphere and tension, darkness and light.

Born and raised in Malta, Muski immediately developed a love for electronic music when he was exposed to the local underground techno scene around 2014.

Since then, Muski has worked on increasing his knowledge of Techno, and with that came his first gigs. Over the past years, he developed his own sound, made up of hypnotic drive and fast-paced rhythms, along with impeccable track selections. Back in 2015, he co-founded the Xpose organisation, together with his close friends – bringing down and playing alongside artists like Newa, Amotik, Cj Bolland, Exium & more.

In 2018 Xpose joined forces with Solid Tracks Records to start 2 new projects, In.di.go and waX. Muski has been one of the main contributors to both these promotions which have now become key events within the local scene which along the years collaborated with international brands and collectives such as Vault Sessions & Bassiani and booked artists like NDRX, Alarico, Olivia Mendez, KR!Z, Blasha & Allatt, Marcal & more.

mattram is a hard techno producer and dj based in New York City. He is cofounder of Reflect Recordings, a New York City based hard techno and dnb label and hosts Reflect Podcast along with Evis May. He has releases on Scale Trax, Insane Industry, M31 recordings, Art. 1.43, Hydra Cvlt, ORKS, and Mephyst amongst many other international labels. He has collaborated with many prominent artists such as Evis May, Steve Sai, Rave Syndicate, CKOLE, Modular Phaze and others. He was previously resident dj for Taken and Radar Moscow and has been featured on many podcasts such as Oyhopper’s The Apparition Show on Radio Techno Norway and Techno Works by Rvde Illvsion on Data Transmission Radio. His main inspiration comes from attending parties at clubs such as the late Pacha, and Output in Nyc. 
His sound can be described as raw hard techno with emotion provoking synths and aggressive percussion
