All we're certain of is the Brooklyn-by-way-of-D.C. producer consistently cranks out some of the most kick-ass, funky, sleazy cuts you'll ever get in your ear. He's released tracks via Nurvous and OTP Party Breaks, an offshoot of On the Prowl, which is run by Marcos Cabral and our very own Jacques Renault.

Six, count 'em, six! boogie bangers 

So you've just dropped 'Never Too Much' at the request of that pesky group of well meaning keen beens at the front of the dancefloor. Here are a plethora of tracks that you can follow it with. 'Love You So Much' is basically an ode to the aforementioned classic, with it's silky Vandross-eque vocals courtesy of XXX. Production-wise Ziggy Phunk has absolute nailed that classic 80s sound, more so than any producer we've heard recently. Away from the smoocher we get 'Alone Without You' which is more like a Fatback Band anthem, looped up percussion, big synth stabs, slap bass, digital horns and a sweet jittered female vocal to boot. All perfect for the Connoisseurs Corner at the Southport Weekender. rate: 9/10

It’s been two years - more or less - since the debut release of Editor’s Kutz and the label proudly presents its sixth installment right on summertime. 
Starting things off with a duo working really effectively lately, the label head “VinylAddicted” and the “Whiskey Disco” boss “Sleazy McQueen”. Their “Free (From Social Narcotics)” has not only a powerful and acid message, but also a rolling beat and juicy bassline, frenzy looped keys and raw strings. True dopamine! Kinjo Music’s kid, “Ed Wizard & Disco Double Dee”, comes up next with a “Stellar Dub”, a mid-tempo groover accompanied by a sweet trumpet and brass, fluffing the track with a very cosmopolitan style!
Flip-side belongs to the label newcomers. First “The Silver Rider” uses his disco skills on a little known track. “Good Luvin’ Baby” has that fatty and hearty beat, which in addition to the lazy guitars and female vocals is perfectly made for sun and sand dancing! Last but not least, “Doc Jam” samples a beloved disco hymn, lifting it to a more disco-house and bouncing level.
