Yes yes y'all! Brother J in the house! The funk soul brother gently eases Superbreak into the vinyl frontier with three stone grooves for all the deep disco jocks out there. The A-side gets underway with the wah fuelled disco funk of "Round Corners", a block party rocker driven by a relentless low slung bassline and rippling percussion. As the track rolls on, elements of jazz-funk pop up here and there in the form of cosmic clavinet and airy rhodes riffs, adding another texture to the solid cut. On the flip, "International" keeps the party moving at that same mid tempo shimmey, as Brother J applies expertly selected loops, full frequency filtering and wild bass boosts to a live party viber with horns at the highs and a whole load of funk in the trunk. Off the hook yo! Brother J takes us home with the brassy refrains of "Journey", an uplifting cut which bursts into flames to light up your warm up or end of night. For this third record on the Mochi label, after successfully having released remixes of UK jazz funk sensation Resolution 88 (MR001) and latin funk act Setena (MR002), the Mochi Men got the honor to work with legendary acid jazz outfit Brooklyn Funk Essentials, remixing ‘Watcha Want From Me’, a tune co-written by Frankie Knuckles and BFE’s Lati Kronlund. Re-recorded and included on BFE’s brand new album ‘Stay Good’ (Dorado 2019), the song has been given the Mochi treatment resulting in an uplifting piece of authentic soulful house, promising to be a timeless club anthem and embellished with an extra Young Pulse dub version.

St Petersburg resident Sunner Soul has had releases on the likes of Acryl Music, Midnight Riot, Tronic and Armada, but this five-track EP comes on his own Vintage Music label. Opener 'Dancing In Madness' ain't nothin' but a lazy summer groove complete with crowd noise and mucho use of the filters, 'Don't Hold Back' is in a similar vein but has a phatter bottom-end and 'Feel Good 2 U' is another late 90s filter disco throwback, before 'Handle With Care' leads us down a slightly more sophisticated jazz-funk path and 'Sunrise Jam' plays us out with jazz piano and energising James Brown-like whoops and shouts.

Sought after Parisian dj & producer Young Pulse is dropping his first EP "Love Will Bring It", the result of his true dedication to the disco sound.

Renowned for his sound signature on reworks of disco/boogie tunes from the late 70's - early 80's, and his successful remixes of french pop legends like Veronique Sanson, Françoise Hardy, Sheila… it was just about time to release his own material !

The single "Love Will Bring It" is an original disco track involving the powerful South African singer Natalie Nova. "There's Never Been (No One Like You)" is a cover of the undergound disco-boogie favorite, and the third track is a garage spin of the classic "Keep The Fire Burning" with the warm vocals of UK house singer Natasha Watts.

"Love Will Bring It" is an uplifting EP, crafted for today's dancefloors. Produced with love, passion, admiration and respect for the beautiful era of dance music.
