A quick test recording made from a series of samples taken from a gorgeous late 1960s Brüel & Kjær type 1024 "Sine-Random Generator" - an all tube based design that found its way into some of the most prestigious acoustics labs around the world and turns out to be a wonderful source of really quite haunting wobbly and warbly sine tones.

1080_GRENOUILLES is part of a research project on the sound of Molenbeek (postal code 1080) under the forthcoming TEMPO AL  TEMPO 2018 Festival (27-28-29 September). Les grenouiiles (frogs) recall the canal that is crossing the areas of Molenbeek and Anderlecht in Brussels.  The spoken words are excerpts from You Tube interviews to  a policeman and to some young people living in Molenbeek. Recorded in Dan's living room on 2012-07-31 with an H1 Zoom recorder. Flutes miked through a Fishman Loudbox Artist acoustic amplifier set up with some reverb and delay.

These are the best of about an hours worth of music. All selections were spur of the moment improvisations with no rehearsal what so ever.

Were thinking of studying some of these and perhaps producing some quality recordings.
