A quick test recording made from a series of samples taken from a gorgeous late 1960s Brüel & Kjær type 1024 "Sine-Random Generator" - an all tube based design that found its way into some of the most prestigious acoustics labs around the world and turns out to be a wonderful source of really quite haunting wobbly and warbly sine tones.

One of my favorite jam experiences of all time. I had just seen the other three musicians perform as part of the featured artist band "50 Man Machine", and loved the sounds they produced. Thank goodness they accepted my invitation to jam with me. I asked Kristen to lay down a groove in G minor, medium tempo... and we were off!

1080_GRENOUILLES is part of a research project on the sound of Molenbeek (postal code 1080) under the forthcoming TEMPO AL  TEMPO 2018 Festival (27-28-29 September). Les grenouiiles (frogs) recall the canal that is crossing the areas of Molenbeek and Anderlecht in Brussels.  The spoken words are excerpts from You Tube interviews to  a policeman and to some young people living in Molenbeek.
