A quick test recording made from a series of samples taken from a gorgeous late 1960s Brüel & Kjær type 1024 "Sine-Random Generator" - an all tube based design that found its way into some of the most prestigious acoustics labs around the world and turns out to be a wonderful source of really quite haunting wobbly and warbly sine tones.

1080_GRENOUILLES is part of a research project on the sound of Molenbeek (postal code 1080) under the forthcoming TEMPO AL  TEMPO 2018 Festival (27-28-29 September). Les grenouiiles (frogs) recall the canal that is crossing the areas of Molenbeek and Anderlecht in Brussels.  The spoken words are excerpts from You Tube interviews to  a policeman and to some young people living in Molenbeek. Star Walker embarks on The Shaman Trail deep in Twilight Valley.  The grandfather's faint voices start to grow louder and they speak to his heart.  He  fights back the feeling of dread, knowing there is no returning from this mystical trail of enlightenment as each precarious step brings him closer to his treasure, his overwhelming desire and compulsion to find and pierce the Veil of Wakan Tanka.
