Dave Helwig has toured across the U.S for audiences ranging from 200 people at a beer garden in Colorado to 58,000 people at the Fontana Race Way in California.

Helwig’s love for music is not just heard but felt by his audience, a testimony to this is when Dave and his band received four standing ovations opening for Robert Cray at the California mid state fair.

Not soon after Dave was ask to sing lead vocals for the legendary Ronnie Montrose (Hit songs Rock Candy, Make it Last and Bad Motor Scooter)

“It was amazing,” said Helwig—a Montrose fan. “I remember looking over at Ronnie and thinking… here I am performing with a music icon that I grew up listing to, it was kind of surreal.”

While on the Central Coast Helwig performed with Pat Travers masterfully trading guitar licks earning him an endorsement deal with Baker Guitars, appearing in Guitar Player Magazine and performing at the NAMM show.
