I remember when my good friend Sean Cusick told me John Digweed wanted me to be on his KISS FM radio show back in 2002. I was extremely happy for this amazing news and I already have a trip planned to London with some friends so we went to see John at his Bedrock night at Heaven on a Thursday night, he was playing awesome as always!. I came closer to the DJ booth, he saw me and made me a sign to come closer and I gave him the CD with my mix. He said to me:
"I will let you know when you will be on the show" and 3 weeks later... 😃 pum!

Saturday Night

After Andreas Henneberg slayed the main stage, Uone, the crew and I grabbed the decks and headed to a little kiosk tucked away deep amongst the trees. We set everything up and I got to play to a small but very appreciative selection of crew as the nearby bonfire kept us warm. 

The set starts quite deep and then ebbs and flows in energy. Listening back to it recently I can certainly hear Patrice Baumel's influence to the way that I was playing. Both the music itself and the construction of the set. 

The set also contains a few of my all time favourite pieces of music by Kiasmos, Sashca Funke and Guy J.

A little about Leah and her background to the music

Music has always been an important part of Leah Marie’s life. Leah grew up playing classical piano and developed a taste for electronic music as a teenager. Leah has been on the other side of the dfloor for many years and finally decided to jump behind the decks in 2019. Since then Leah has played at some of Melbourne’s most well-known venues such as Killing Time, Glamorama, 24 Moons, Pawn & Co; and achieved one of her dreams to play in the cage for Revolver Sundays at Revolver Upstairs. 
Leah’s passions revolve around progressive and melodic music. She has a particular love of progressive house that encompasses deep, hypnotic, emotive and often tribal elements. Her one hour mix includes all of those very elements. 's

Leah Marie is a DJ based in Melbourne, Australia. From playing classical piano for many years growing up to developing her first interests in electronic music as a teen, music has always been a huge part of Leah's life. She decided to finally get behind the decks in 2019 and since then has played at some of Melbourne’s most well-known venues and events. 

Leah loves progressive and melodic music that not only has dancefloor drive, but also aims to evoke emotion within the listener. She is a firm believer that music should connect with the mind, body and soul. Leah has concocted a one hour mix for us which encompasses a mixture of afro house and deep melodic house with tribal-percussive elements.
