Nubreed & Infusion blew me away and the crowd was as good as any I've been to in years. 

Earlier in the afternoon Dan and I go to play together for the first time in forever as well. Like riding a bike, we found our feet pretty quickly and had a blast bouncing off each other and sharing the music we'd recently discovered (or re-discovered).

With a career spanning over 15 years Dave Juric is a true multi-genre specialist. Known for his expertly-crafted warm up sets for progressive heavyweights like Henry Saiz, Hernan Cattaneo & Guy J,  he has proven is equally adept at priming the dance floor for house and techno artists like James Zabiela, Patrice Baumel, & Thomas Schumacher.

The last few years has he also expanded is repertoire incorporating more driving, peak time sounds into his sets. These days you’re now just as likely to see him closing nightclubs across Melbourne taking audiences into the early hours of the morning with his now signature sound of rolling progressive and tripped out techno.

Whether crafting a collection of downtempo ambient electronica, warm progressive house, driving techno, even breaks or drum & bass he is sure to provide the perfect selection of music at just the right time.

Words can not express the joy I had playing at the Sunset Stage at RSF this past weekend. To be surrounded by some of my closest friends, playing the music I love in such beautiful surroundings will always stay with me. 

This is the set I played on Saturday Morning 10am - 11:30am. Rerecorded the ending as it was cut short to clean the area and I wanted have the entire last track there to enjoy. 

Best listened to barefoot in the sunshine, with a drink in hand and a smile on your face like the way it was created!

Dave Juric - Henry Saiz Warm Up March 2015

This one was a pretty special set for me. Jordz and Simon allowed me to fulfil my own narcissistic fantasy and DJ at my own bday which was very nice of them. The recording that came out wasn't the best quality, bit fuzzy on the low end and listening to it didn't give me the feeling that I wanted. 

So I have rerecorded the set and this will now be my submission for Rainbow Serpent 2016. 

Playing this year was a dream come true, and now that I've got a taste I want it even more! This set is more of a later afternoon / evening time representation of what I would play. A little bit darker, but still a few melodies and rolling bass lines that I love so much. 

This is exactly the same set I played at Loop, it just sounds better :)

After having the honour of warming up for Henry Saiz last year I was thrilled to have another the opportunity to do it again. This time Darkbeat ran the party at Melbourne's new hotspot Railway Hotel in Brunswick.

Darkbeat have hosted a couple of killer day parties lately in that courtyard. Apparat, DJ T, Stanton Warriors and this time they were back with Henry.

Warming up I wanted to create a fun happy vibe, yet give Henry somewhere to go and not go too full on too early. The set was recorded from 5:00pm - 6:30pm

I got to play some music I really love (in particular that Midland remix and Lancelot - Mover) and finished with one of my fav tracks of 2015 from Melbourne legend Retza called Projections on Lister Cooray & Kasey Taylor's new label Lo-Fi-45.

Piknic Electronik MEL #6: Robag Wruhme (Extended Set) + TheCamilos b2b Alex Anderson + A13 + Dave Juric (Mahala)

Robag had just finished playing out in the courtyard at 10pm after a masterful performance and then I jumped on the decks in the club for the next couple of hours. 

Here is that recording straight from the mixer. 

So rarely do I get the opportunity to play a 2 hour set to a full dance floor like that so I took this opportunity to take the crowd on a deeper journey. Prog mixed with techno is how I would describe it. Gets pretty dark with some lashes of acid throughout. 

Had an absolute ball and was great to have the crowd go on that journey with me all the way to the end. 

Much love to all of the Piknic Electronik crew for having me. A night I won't soon forget.

After a smashing launch party with Martin Roth, Eden was back again at Platform One this weekend hosting one of Anjunadeep's favourite sons Jody Wisternoff.

I was once again thrilled to be asked to warm up on the evening, however this time I shared the stage with my good pal Luke Liberati. 

It was the first time we'd played together however leading up to the event there wasn't a single thought of doubt or stress. Luke has impeccable taste in music and I knew we'd hit it off, and boy did we!

We were really happy with our set, so we thought we'd share it :)
