Jeff “Free” Erickson and Mogul Mike Rushton are the founding member of the original ski punk rock band - The Electric Ski Poles. They started the band and both skied on the Pro Mogul Tour prior to mogul skiing becoming an Olympic sport. They recruited legendary drummer, and fellow rad skier, Spence Dean to join them. Together they played live in venues around Salt Lake City, Utah. In true garage-band fashion, they recorded several of their original ski songs, which only a handful of copies exist. An original cassette tape recording was found and several of the original songs were preserved digitally and listed on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, etc. Jeff has gathered the original music and began recording these and other original works that were never previously recorded. He has also written several new songs, preserving the Electric Ski Poles legacy of creating rad music for rad skiers.
