I joined the Piano Cloud this week and thought perhaps I should make a piano track to celebrate. But the rest of you should keep the cork in that bottle: my piano skills being pretty limited you will very quickly understand why I haven't made one before. That should explain the title!

The chord track was a one run improvisation and then I improvised a melody line over the top...though it took a few attempts to line up this second track to the first. For the techies, the sound is the NNXT default grand piano patch in Reason, and I play on a semi-weighted M-Audio Keystation 88.

I am a working full-time musician, teaching, performing, composing, recording and arranging, and my gigs in the last few years have included jazz combo, big band jazz, folk, Irish traditional, rock, soul, latin, klezmer, funk, orchestral, chamber, minimal techno, musical theatre and more, so, safe to say, I’ll have a go at anything.
