3 Years Of NULL / VOID - Live Guests Compilation (Previews)

Originally from Brazil and currently making waves in Berlin's dynamic music scene, Paty Vapor is a multifaceted artist known for her roles as DJ, curator and event producer. 

She is part of the Italian label-collective Slow Motion / Wrong Era and co-founder of the female-focused event series 'Wisdom Tits & The Mad Express presents'. Holding a residency at the Berlin club Sameheads and at Blum in her hometown Sao Paulo, she regularly showcases her sound at the pinnacle of Berlin's venues, across Europe, and in Brazil, solo or as one half of the DJ duo Wisdom Tits alongside Caillou.

Her sets evoke an old-school nostalgia of the ’80s, weaving through EBM, Electro, and Industrial, smoothly blending with Synthpunk, Wave, obscure Italo and Belgian New Beat. Characterized by powerful kicks, bold basslines, ethereal synths, and enigmatic vocals. Paty Vapor's sonic tapestry is a captivating fusion of the old and the avant-garde. This months guest is Kutkh Jackdaw, a Scottish producer and DJ, now based in Brighton, whose productions and mixes take influence from a wide variety of different genres, from post-punk, darkwave and EBM, to synth, industrial and techno. He uses a range of techniques in his productions including a heavy use of inventive sampling, combined with extensive use of vintage 80’s hardware. 

Kutkh Jackdaw co-runs Brighton based event and podcast series Acid Reflux and is also a part of DarkDisco.org's operations team. Over the past few years, he has been spreading his unique combination of genres in cities such as Brussels, Berlin, Lisbon, London, Manchester and Glasgow.

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨 @schnallotheband ⟁👹 is the dark wave dance project of Berlin based musician and artist Kimi Recor.

Blending no-wave, Neue Deutsche Welle, post-punk, and early Berlin electroclash references, Schnallo moves between deadpan softness and sharp, driving rhythm. It is music for bodies that feel too much. Music for dancing while thinking. Music for the in-between hours.

Schnallo released the debut album white fluffy in 2024 and has since appeared at spaces like Trauma Bar, Neue Nationalgalerie, Pop-Kultur, No Kidding Festival, Sagewerk, and Grauzone.

This mix was made while laying in bed, half-asleep and restless, wanting to have a dance party but in a fever dream.  Made up of new + old faves.

A new EP arrives in 2026.

Gala, also known as Galanjah, is a DJ and producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is the co-founder of the party and record label @fusion_dance and former member of the dub band Nairobi. 

As a musician and producer, she has released two EPs, including Romance Layers with Mystery Friend, and has collaborated with artists such as Orion Agassi and Donald Dust. 
She has performed in Buenos Aires, throughout Latin America, and in Europe.

NULL / VOID celebrated its 3rd birthday in July, but with lockdown at its peak we had to settle for a live-streamed event, which was a banging evening thanks in no small part to Soft Riot and Skrot Centralen's sets!

Conceived as a monthly club-night blending dancefloor-oriented industrial, techno and EBM - something popular elsewhere but lacking in Glasgow - we started on Sunday 2nd July 2017, taking the first Sunday slot in Nice N Sleazy's basement. We were thrilled to see such a mixed crowd show up and this only built over the first few months, encouraging us to put on our first live show for Hallowe'en that year. We chose goth overlord Qual to fit with the Hallowe'en theme, and synth wizard Soft Riot came onboard as support. The night was a resounding success, which led to us focussing increasingly on live acts (along with a few of our fave fellow DJs).

Since then we've had live acts playing most months - such as techno heavyweight Duellist, local rave wiz Sluhg, industrial icon E.S.A. and EBM master Autumns - and DJs like JD Twitch of Optimo and Ben Techy. We've also done occasional events in larger venues where we've had guests like NYC's Andi Harriman (of Synthicide) Keepsakes and Christina Sealey of Orphx.

We were really hoping to be able to have a party to celebrate making it to 3 years but obviously there are bigger things going on - missing the live gigs gave us the idea to put together some tracks from the guests we've loved so much over the years, almost like a mini-festival for your headphones. We're pumped to have local legends like Kleft, Denizens and South Heights rubbing shoulders with international belters Multiple Man and Celldod,  while there's new flesh in the form of punkish upstarts A Civil Terror and Skrot Centralen plus a debut from one of oor Dirty Marc's own projects, Duras.

We are donating any proceeds from this release (tape/digital) to Scotland's own Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights - there's so much we want to highlight and help all over the world, but for now there's still work to be done on our doorstep.

Denizens is a young Scot who has already amassed a lethal collection of club-ready bangers, having released on loads of quality labels and running one himself, Dark Carousel. His eclectic take on everything from rave to jungle - on record and live - really sets him apart from the crowd and being able to deliver it all onstage makes him an act well worth keeping tabs on.
