In 2005, David Cornejo embarked on a solo musical journey that would give birth to Sik Mind—a project fueled by furious tones, visceral lyrics, and a sonic landscape that weaves between haunting calm and explosive intensity. The experimental fusion of loud and quiet, erratic and enigmatic, defines Sik Mind's unique musical identity.

Operating independently and shunning commercial labels, Sik Mind honed its craft through the years, diligently crafting demo projects and harnessing the power of home studio recording technology. The culmination of these efforts manifested on music platforms in 2013, marking a significant milestone for the project.

The breakthrough continued with a deal inked with CKSF Records©, where Sik Mind released the in-house-produced album "Moving On." Notable singles like "Ground You Stand" and "Syn" showcased the project's versatility. A brief hiatus ensued until 2020 when Sik Mind returned with the release of the album "NightMare" and impactful singles "Sadness Avail" and "HVY," now under the banner of Defect Productions©.

With a fresh album slated for release in 2024, Sik Mind remains committed to evolutionizing sound and pushing the envelope in music. The journey continues, and Sik Mind stands poised to leave an indelible mark on the musical landscape.
