Big fan of range of music. Especially a fan of 1970s uptempo feel good disco. Loved all the original unique genres of the 1980s particulary soul, disco, early 1980s UK and Euro synthesiser (precursor of today's EDM), and finally the emergence of thumping electronic house music. 
Moving foreward in the 1990s began getting involved in Sydneys burgeonjng inner city dance subculture including all night clubs, dance parties in huge warehouses, and raves. The music in Sydney had to have a decent danceable beat usually from Europe or the USA, with a few locals in the mix. Towards the end of the 90s I discovered uptempo and dream trance and uptempo techno of course.

Music is the beat of life, our emotion at any one time. It captures a moment in time, a stage in our life, sometimes only a season. 

My playlists are based on genre, sub-genre and the mood you are in. I am a big fan of nature and do them on daily beach balks where I live in Sydney. 

Though I do not currently mix, I do intend to eventually. Watch this space! All the years going to dance parties of up to 15,000 people in Sydney, commonly 2000, I would look up to the DJ booth and imagine how I would take the crowd on a journey of sound, moving them through different genres, and pacing the beats. I knew it would be so satisfying and fun!



A wee bit about myself. I started my dj journey by taking a course with Jase Thirlwall in March. He gave me the tools and the confidence to start putting mixes together. My favourite genres are trance and techno but can adapt to a lot of gen
res.  My passion for dance music goes back to 1989 and only in the last few months have I noticed the power music has. Being behind the decks and mixing helps me switch off to whatever bad things are happening in my life and every time I finish a set my face has a smile like a Cheshire cat.
