2003 at WEMF, Canada.

I don't remember too much but it was a very hot sweaty building and I think it had been put together a bit last minute after a previous venue fell through? 

Anyway there was Drum & Bass before me and I honestly wasn't too sure how to follow it. Canadian crowds can be a little hard to predict so I figured I'd start with the Ms Dynamite bootleg I had just picked up from Balafonic Ben and it set the tone for the night.

Then there's the Luke slater horn track mix with that vocoder "hear The Drummer" bit in it, I think people thought that was my signature tune but it wasn't, it was just straight up coincidence, Good though.

Anyway yeah, it's all vinyl of course, there was nothing else at that period of time and it was a lot of fun, 18 years old and counting.

On Friday 14th April 2017 I made the journey to Amsterdam to see Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Bart Skills, Ben Klock and Marcel Detmann play at 'Awakenings 20th Birthday'.

It was an amazing night and since coming home that Saturday morning I've been itching for a mix. So as it's Easter Monday, I decided to get the decks out and here's the result.

These are all tracks from a golden age of techno in the mid-90s. Enjoy.
