As my first night out it was a huge milestone for me and an opportunity to meet some of my favourite artists.

The elements of life are the building blocks that make up living organisms and sustain life processes. 

Four main elements essential to life are hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen & oxygen,


Hydrogen represented by David Watt is a key component of water and organic compounds, playing a vital role in energy transfer and cellular processes.

Carbon represented by David Mayren is the backbone of organic molecules, forming the structure of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids.

Nitrogen represented by David Hill is crucial for amino acids and nucleic acids, which are the building blocks of proteins and DNA/RNA.

Oxygen represented by David Thomas is essential for respiration and energy production, as well as being a part of water and organic molecules.

These elements are abundant in the universe and are fundamental to the chemistry of life.

Life and trance music are beautifully intertwined, both flowing with a rhythm that mirrors each other’s essence. Trance music, with its pulsating beats and euphoric melodies, reflects life's emotional peaks and valleys, offering moments of both introspection and exhilaration. Like life itself, the genre builds and evolves, weaving layers of sound that capture the complexity of human experiences—love, loss, growth, and self-discovery. It draws people into a shared connection, just as life's journey brings individuals together through shared stories and emotions. In this fusion, trance becomes more than music; it transforms into a living, breathing expression of existence's limitless energy and unity.

4 Daves The Elements Of Life.

Being a regular at Gatecrasher back in the 90s set my lifelong love affair with trance. Any set I create I want to create an experience for the listener and something unique.

This year I achieved my dream of playing live in a club when I won the Paul Clarke DJ competition. Since then I have played in the iconic Godskitchen, won numerous competitions and have gigs coming up in Poland, Leeds and Peterborough early in 2024. 

I will be playing Afterhours FM alongside some of the worlds biggest trance DJs on new years day.
