Berlin's Dave Vega follows up his recent hit for Exone with a debut EP on Thoughtless. 'Altars of Magic' is a classic late night embodiment of deep tech-house, updating the past for the benefit of the future. Jaunty yet persistent bass is augmented with swung analog percussion, rich organs and haunting textures, all woven together with a masterful arrangement designed for maximum persuasion. Toronto artist Basic Soul Unit found time in his busy schedule producing for the likes of Mule, Ostgut Ton and New Kanada to turn in not one but two remixes of the title track, both veering towards claustrophobic yet intoxicating acid house - with the digital bonus mix turning up the paranoia for a slightly more twisted techno take. Finally, 'In A Chord With Something' lives up to its name, harmonizing impeccably filtered analog stabs with an irresistible low end, employing an inventive compositional approach that merges wistful pads with synthesized vocal stabs to build tension before returning to the spacious yet metaphysically complete groove that drives it forward. As the second vinyl release on Thoughtless, we're proud to welcome one of Germany's freshest talents to our growing roster.

DOYEQ is a unique two-man live-project of Sergey Kulikov and Vitaliy Bragin. Due to their extensive knowledge and practical experience in electronic music from 1997, in 2009 musicians started the project with minimal and deep techno sound. Much of knowing came through continual sound experiments and researches. All that made DOYEQ inimitable sound, built on deep and powerful groove with dub-atmosphere, that completely fill the listeners space.

Emerging from Spain's Golden years in the early 2000s is Sau Poler, an electronic musician and producer from Barcelona, proving an exclusive mix for us here at DHA.

In 2015, the Badalona-born musician toured Amsterdam, New York, Barcelona, Montreal, Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, Mexico, and Calgary. He was invited to play at the Boiler Room Generator show in Barcelona, all the meanwhile remixing Touch Sensitive for the Australian label Future Classic. Since 2013, he has released 3 EPs and an album via Atomnation, and was invited by Sonar Copenhagen & Transmusicales to perform a live set.

Dave is part of the european dance scene since almost 20 years now, on dance floors and behind the decks. After releases on labels like Bpitch Control, Serialism, Get Physical, Exone, and many others, he started a new project under the name OGNI last year together with Tobi Neumann and Saktu from Russia. The first release came out on the Spanish imprint Oblack Label as a vinyl only EP, now the boys release their next one on Berlin’s Mobilee Records. Vega's roots have always been somewhere between House and Techno - that's what he plays and still drives him after almost 2 decades of electronic music experience.
