Hi I am a Bristol based singer-songwriter and producer and run my own mini label Blue Balloon Records. I've realised two albums Kathy's, Lost In The Wilderness and The Handkerchief Lady. These are available through ITunes Amazon etc.

I perform mainly in the Bristol area on a regular basis so keep posted on my Facebook and other pages for gigs.

In the past I have played at The Glastonbury Festival, Canny Wizard Stage, Bristol Community Festival, St Georges Hall, The Bristol Harbour Festival, The 12 Bar Club in London and numerous other venues. I've done many local and internet radio interviews and happy to do more to promote my music.

Recently I have also been writing for tv and film libraries and have music place with a number of UK companies producing such music. Examples of my instrumental music are here too and there are some videos of me playing on my YouTube Channel.

Now I’m grown up, I’ll be who I damn well like. So it’s Andy Does This. No covers, all originals. Well, to be exact there is one instrumental track based on Paul Simon’s Fifty Ways that I arranged to provide backing for a parody poem, but I crave your indulgence for this one. 

Writing, playing and singing for quite a while, half of Bravados ( with Pete Airey ) around Bristol in the nineties and zero’s, vocalist for Edinburgh project The Exiles, otherwise solo gigs, showcases, open mics or frankly any excuse to make noise. 

Various tracks recorded, some on SoundCloud, new compositions as well as the back catalogue. Finally moving tracks on to Spotify & Bandcamp to join the Bravados 2000 album. 

Every day’s a school day.

A  strong background in commercial music,
three (3) years performing in the Holland America Line Cruise ship Industry, over ten (10) years Contemporary Church music, two years (2) performing musical theatre at Sinclair College
and 
one year  with America Entertainment Productions (AEP), these musical experiences are part of my performance background.

My education started at Wright State, then transferred to Belmont University to finish Bachelor’s degree (Commercial Music w/Percussion performance degree).  

Before doing the Cruise ship gig, I went to University of Dayton and Eastman School of music for Graduate study, earning credits transferring to Eastern Kentucky University, where I finished a Master’s degree (M. M.) in General Music.

I finished a Masters degree in Jazz this year (2019) - main concentration right now.  Performance & Pedagogy are part of the program.  UAM has a great jazz program ! 

I'm working on  a Jazz project, recording & writing music (Film), and performing live music.
