Borne and musically educated in Frankfurt (Germany), Dave Zoom discovered his passion for electronic music from very young on.

With the early age of 9, he already was interested in electronic music listening to EBM, and the first Acid and Techno tracks that arrived to Europe by end of the 80’s.

His first contact with the turntables was in 1993 playing at private parties where he became more and more popular, until he had the opportunity in 1994 to play in a club of his hometown called Spinclub.

His performance impressed the Promoter in such way that Dave was granted to play regularly at the Spinclub where he shared the Booth with the most popular DJ´s of the German electronic music scene until the closure of the club.

Between 1993 and 1998 he had his yearly summer residencies at Extasis Techno Club located in Toledo (Spain) where he achieved the sense to interact with the spectators by playing all night long sets charged full of transitions and energy.

From 1996 on was the exact moment where Dave developed into a highly requested artist performing continuously in the most popular Techno clubs and events in Germany as well as getting introduced in the artist management called Unity Records.

In order to get inspired with new musical ideas, Dave Zoom moved in 1999 to Madrid (Spain) where he now resides. His musical style and taste mutated radically to the darkest industrial Techno influenced by the Birmingham sound. 

Dave Zoom career highlights are his gigs in clubs like Liquid Dance Club, Ypsilon, Groove Dance Club, Danzoo emphasizing his performances at Palazzo (Germany), Family Club, Fabrik, Maxime, Arena, Mattrix, Reset Club, Ekho, NOX, One and events like Klubbers-Day, Code, Row, Techno Flash and Sonomascope.

His depurated technique, dynamic equalization and musical selection combined with a unique connection to the audience, let the dancefloor burn everywhere he performs.
