Even if each label is rather inaccurate and incomplete, we work on extemporaneous and experimental composition.
We like the concept of esho-funi and the endless possibilities to travel on different worlds, engaging in an act of magic creation.

My main interest is in living. This embraces involvement with the people in my life. Then comes my interest in ART. This embraces involvement with MUSIC, in particular with spontaneously and interactively composed music of which all these tracks are examples. This may seem prosaic but I want to distinguish between LIFE and ART as a consequence of LIFE

Mopoke are a Melbourne based quartet. Experimenting with the synthesis of various styles including, Indian, Classical and Spiritual Jazz, Mopoke bring together the sonic and rhythmic differences and similarities of these traditions through improvisation.
