Dave Allen is a recording artist, urban/pop producer, and songwriter originally from New Jersey. He currently lives in Los Angeles where he works on his own music career while writing and producing for other artists. He began rapping and writing songs at the age of 14 and started producing beats for himself and other local artists at the age of 16 when he taught himself how to play piano, guitar, and drums. While on his quest to gain attention for his music abilities he quickly found himself signed with Wilhelmina Models and working with brands like Diesel and Armani and eventually landing himself in several fashion magazines including Esquire and GQ and appearing in several commercials.

 

     After years of honing his craft his music gained the attention of super producer Rich Harrison best known for producing  Beyonce - "Crazy In Love", Amerie - "1 Thing", and J-Lo - "Get Right" who then went on to work with Dave on 7 songs. He also has worked with iconic producer Damon Elliot (Mya, Pink) and his newest single "Body Up" is produced by Damon Sharpe (Ariana Grande, J-Lo, Pitbull). The song entered Billboard's Dance/Club charts at #46 in May 2018 and moved up 5 consecutive weeks to peak at #29.

 

    The single was remixed by Billboard charting DJs Joe Gauthreux and Dan Thomas along with Number 1 Charted Billboard DJ's Sted-E and Hybrid Heights. He started his production company Five-Star Entertainment in April of 2018 after being approached to write and produce for several more artists. He is currently preparing to release all new music for Fall of 2018. 

 

    The single was remixed by Billboard charting DJs Joe Gauthreux and Dan Thomas along with Number 1 Charted Billboard DJ's Sted-D and Hybrid Heights. He started his production company FiveStar Entertainment in April of 2018 after being approached to write and produce for several more artists. As the entertainment industry shifts towards multi-faceted entertainers, Dave Allen has the ability to take the entire entertainment industry by storm with the many areas that he performs in at a high level.
