Excellent song Dave, nice sound recording 👌

Reading the title I thought it was a nod or tribute to the band Fatal Shore (saw them live in Hungary about 20 years ago, one of my favourite gig memories). I was mischievous and deliberately listened to it on my entry level Adam Audio monitors. The mix isn't only good, to me it's spotless and I mean it. Deep, crisp, quite honestly makes me jelaous. It takes courage to make the vocals this prominent in the mix but your excellent vocal delivery totally justifies it. Wonderful song with touching lyric, one of my favourites from you.

My EP SUPERNOVA contains two Japanese songs, and this is one of them. I have never released a song in Japanese before, but I took the plunge and decided to release these. It's a song recorded in one take with my acoustic guitar and vocal. The tempo is middle tempo (I didn't use the metronome function so I don't know the BPM). 3m58s. The main genre is Folk. I read a book a few years ago by Robert Hughes called Fatal Shore. It is thoroughly recommended, telling the stories of so many of the people who were simply transported to Australia for the most minor crimes carried out largely by people who were poor and starving. Australia today has become quite fantastic but the conditions back in the day must have been horrendous and terrifying for those people sent there.
